How It Works
Bowlfish is best treated as a progression catch, not a quick-sale fish. When you reach the Island 2 quest chain, look for the swimmer NPC request before clearing your inventory.
Location Notes
- Check the Island 2 shoreline and nearby quest water first.
- If you are in multiplayer, have one player stay near the quest giver while the others fish nearby.
- Do not assume a missing spawn means the route is broken. Change spots, rejoin the lobby, then re-check the active objective text.
Strategy
- Bring an upgraded rod before spending too long on the search.
- Clear hostile catches quickly so the group does not lose time fighting around the shore.
